BIKE HOTEL

The owners of a land plot in Sapareva Banya are keen cyclists and travelers, which naturally leads them toward the desire of building a hotel focused on guests who prefer alpine, eco and cycling tourism. Many mountain routes start from Sapareva Banya and the availability of hot mineral water makes it a favorite place to stay overnight after a day of trekking or skiing in the mountains. Outside the winter season, bicycle tourists are frequent guests of the adjacent valleys at the skirts of the Rila and Lozenska mountains. Hence the designers’ choice of a natural, wooden facade, “cut” into several smaller, reminiscent of individual “huts” volumes, as well as the plenitude of wood in the interior.
